Colour Schemes

This section will explore colour schemes. It is important to have a basic understanding of the colour wheel to be able to understand the individual colour schemes discussed below.

The first colour wheel diagram was created in 1666 by Sir Isaac Newton. The arrangement of the colours around the wheel means that almost any combination will generally look good. There are however some general guidelines which would enable you to create a colour scheme that is pleasing to the eyes.
